My main criticism about Hulk lately is enough of the split stories. Either focus on the Red Hulk or the Green one for awhile but these half-and-half stories just drive me crazy, mainly because they are so short you are left feeling like the story over before it even began. Thankfully, this issue seems to be the final installment of the current storylines. For the Green Hulk, it’s the final part of the Wendigo storyline that has been going on for the last three issues or so. I have to say this is one of the lamest Hulk stories I have read in a long time, and just to give you a clue as to why – we see WediHulk make his debut this issue.

The second story is the conclusion to a storyline involving the Red Hulk and his confrontation with She-Hulk and her new female brigade. Though better than the Green Hulk Wendigo story, I still really felt this story was somewhat boring, although seeds for a better story appear to be included (maybe as early as next issue which teases us with a Defenders Vs. Offenders story that involves both the Green Hulk and Red Hulk)

One of the reasons these two stories appear to be so weak is because the previous story-arc was so strong. Jeoh Loeb really knocked it out of the park with the introduction of the Red Hulk, and I think this latest story-arc was really more of a breather until we get into the next big story.
